My unorthodox integration of science, philosophy, bodybuilding, health and fitness have the ability to improve your health, performance and wellbeing. In addition, I believe the act and principles of bodybuilding can be analogous to improving other areas of life and exploring self through a different lens.

THE RECOMPOSITION METHOD
recomposition
/riːˌkɒmpəˈzɪʃn/
noun
the action of composing or forming something again or differently.
Put simply its a way of thinking or rethinking through 3 simple terms;
Philosophize, Conceptualize & Contextualize
Philosophize: 'Philein' meaning, 'Lover' & 'Sophia' meaning 'Wise.' When asked a question, starting broad can tease the individuals moral and ethical positions pertaining to the question at hand. This may start the process of logical reasoning.
Conceptualize: To understand the concepts at play regarding the question asked. Most of the time the question asked can be quite nuanced and multifactorial. Sometimes it can be particular thing that is causative but mostly a combination of factors affecting the system.
Contextualize: To give context to or form the setting for the statement/idea presented. How can we address and apply the stated concepts to ensure the best answer/greatest success for the individual or group.
This scaffolding allows us to understand the individual or group needs greater and serve as an opportunity for us to learn. The method may seem to overcomplicate, but ironically the deeper understanding may allow for simpler answers to following questions requiring less thought.
About Me.
Hi, my name is Robbie Cooper. I started RECOMPOSITION with the mission to deliver Health and Fitness through my own method. In all honesty, this isn't all that sexy and it's not all that complex either. It's real nutrition, simple but effective training and consistency with some thinking.
My fitness journey started in high-school with the intention to improve my strength and athletic ability on the basketball court. My goals quickly shifted when injury from excessive training and basketball crept up on me. With constant injuries, my journey shifted away from Strength and Conditioning towards injury prevention, rehabilitation and muscular hypertrophy. However, my fascination for physique development started even earlier with the Anime 'Dragon Ball Z.' Goku (Dragon Ball Z Protagonist) snowballed my love for Anime and muscular development partly inspiring my Undergraduate studies too.
During my Undergrad I thoroughly enjoyed studying muscular hypertrophy specifically for Natural Bodybuilders and general injury prevention and rehabilitation. I developed more clinical experience working at an Exercise Physiology Clinic and Physiotherapy Clinic equipping me with some helpful tools as a coach. As my love for science flourished, I was met with more questions evolving into greater philosophical and scientific curiosity. Today I'm just one curious dude, who wants to help bring out the best in all people I meet. :)
